Right Now is The Time To Think About a Christmas Decorating Service

The weather is turning cooler, leaves are beginning to fall, and Thanksgiving decorations are starting to pop up in stores and offices around the country. These signs also mean that there is little time left to get your Christmas decoration plans in order.

As a business professional responsible for your facility, whether you're an office manager, engineer, or property manager, now is the time to secure holiday decor for your space. Crazy as it may sound, mid to late summer is the ideal timeframe to begin, but it's not too late right now! Leave it up to a professional decorating company to worry about where the goods will come from and getting them installed before the holiday season is upon us.

Facility Managers are Some of the Busiest Professionals

You manage: LEED certification, tenant retention, vacancies, inspections, emergencies, insurance, repairs & maintenance, reports, networking, and your personal life. Surely, we have left out some of your many tasks. If holiday decorating for your facility is one of them, you can get that one off your mind, onto your To Do List, and mark it Done!

Do You Really Need Holiday Decor?

An International Facility Management Association survey (IFMA November 2006) reports that facility managers know it is a good idea. The survey concludes:

"From Christmas trees to menorahs to holly, lights, and poinsettias, workplaces are still recognizing the holiday season despite issues relating to religion and diversity. Ninety-three percent of organizations decorate for a variety of holidays, according to the study, with 85 percent of the 422 facility management professionals, who responded to the survey, saying their organization plans to decorate for Christmas."

Decorating your facility creates a visual message that says you care. Employees, customers, and guests respond with sales and referrals that benefit your business. Cheerful employees beget cheerful customers. Shoppers will probably linger longer, spend more money, come back, and bring their family and friends because they felt the holiday spirit being in your space. Festive-feeling office staff will spread their cheerfulness to customers and prospective customers in person, on the phone, and even by e-mail. We know you treat them well all year long and they are, after all, professionals. But that extra cheerfulness can be positively contagious and promote your business "without the sales pitch" during the holiday season and long after.

Get This Done

Decorating a commercial facility for the holidays is a big job requiring planning, know-how, manpower, and storage. Your job is to get things done efficiently, correctly, and cost-effectively. You may know how to fix the toilet, but you delegate that to the plumber, who has the tools and lots of experience, to get it done better than you can. Apply this principle to the task of holiday decorating. Be smart and call an expert.

Renting Holiday Decorations

Renting Christmas trees and holiday decorations can be a great solution for busy facility managers. A holiday decorating specialist guides you through the process that makes this task hassle-free for you and your staff. Since the Christmas tree is generally the focal point of any holiday display, you will want to have a high quality product that complements your dcor, reflects your image, and conveys a positive message.

Artificial trees are a good choice for indoor environments. Quality is the key to conveying a successful image of your business and negating any possibility that you are suffering from the economy. Don't let a cheap tree send the wrong message. Quality, however, is only part of the formula. Tree size that is proportionate to the display area, together with accessories that complement your dcor, will accomplish your goal.

Variety is the Spice of Life

One of the nicest features of renting holiday decorations is variety. You may be completely satisfied with your initial selection and just want to renew for the following year. For those who enjoy change, you may wish to select a new color scheme, theme, accessories, or customize in some other way. A company that has been in the business for many years will have many options to satisfy your requests.

Holiday Decorators Do It. Did It. Done!

When it is time to get back to normal, a professional holiday rental company will carefully disassemble, pack, transport, and store all signs of your holiday display off your premises. The only thing on your To Do List is to congratulate yourself for making a wise choice.
